Amsterdam Half Marathon - 21 October 2012

This month of October has been full of commitments. Our stress resistant heroes faced the last challenge of the month with the usual grit.
Amsterdam Half Marathon was scheduled at 13.30 of a grey, windy, unusually cold Sunday.
At that moment full marathon runners were supposed to accomplish their goals, leaving the stage to about 10.000 participants.

On the early Intercity train to Amsterdam our B.I.T.T. delegation, formed by Mr Kostas, Mr Marco, Mr Doug and Mr Francesco, met 2 representatives of the Flanders' Athletics Association, for a brief meeting on antidoping and the measures to be taken to fight against bad practices in sports.

..and our guys once more dressed in red and white. Is this a sponsorship agreement with Peruvian Authorities or simply Mr Kostas' superstition further to the recent amazing performances with the 2011 B.I.T.T outfit?

Apparently the fact of wearing our white outfit was a brilliant idea, as Mr Kostas made B.I.T.T personal best in Amsterdam, with an outstanding 1h35h58
The team congratulates Mr Francesco (1h46'06), Mr Marco (1h50'23) and Mr Doug (1h55'55) for the great race they've done.

A famous bar in central Amsterdam hosted the press conference after the race, held in a homely, loud, electric atmosphere.
Meeting with journalists was also the occasion for promoting bio food and raising awareness on how important is a good diet before and after the race.

Stay tuned for other ammmmazing adventures!
