Mr Kostas confirmed in New York City for the Half Marathon on 14 March 2012

Mr Kostas, a Greek representative of the Borda International Tintori Team, has announced during his press conference that he will run "The Allstate® Life Insurance New York 13.1 Marathon®". This is a half marathon which will be run within historic Flushing Meadows Corona Park, home of the 1939 and 1964 World's Fair. While the mediterranean Kostas gave his confirmation, the Swedish representative office of the BITT has informed the BOARD that Dr Erik is also registered to the race, but his flight booking is still pending.

American organisers explain: "the race begins in front of Arthur Ashe Stadium the venue that hosts the US Tennis Open. As your running tour begins you wind through the park passing the New York Hall of Science, the Queens Wildlife Center, and the Unisphere. At the southern end the course loops around Meadow Lake, returning back into the park for a second loop and finishing in the shadow of the Unisphere for a great post race party".
The Crisis Unit of the BITT, honestly, believes that the representative of the team could get lost after the first kilometre, or kilometer for the American rescue dogs. Mr Kostas stated: "Malaka,............" The Borda International Tintori Team once more is proud of Mr Kostas, welcomes his decision to overcome the ocean in order to spread the borda philosophy and fully support the very competitive and combative member!
